Day 2
Not many places in the country have a Christmas tree lane that spans two miles long and 140 houses, but Fresno does. This is an 85 year old tradition that still goes strong every December. It’s probably the most beautiful thing to walk through, granted I’ve only gone about five times while being in the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band, but still it’s gorgeous!
I want the homeowners to know that I’m grateful for the sacrifice you make with your electricity bill to put on this yearly attraction for the entire city of Fresno to see. Just making sure you people don’t go unsung.
Nothing puts you quite in the holiday spirit quite like walking up and down these two miles with a thermos of hot cocoa and watching carolers singing songs to celebrate Christmas.
This is why I love Fresno.
