Day 20
I am so thankful the highways and bi-ways of Fresno do not look like this everyday for every second of the day. I’m very glad that the traffic in Fresno is quite decent aside from some schmuck that will decide to blast his music so loud that the ground shakes from time to time at the red light.
Fresno traffic is an art, really. The lights are usually pretty good at changing at the detection of one car in the dead of night, albeit very slowly changing, it’s good at it. Some of the streets are meticulously programmed to be able to drive through one side of town to the next without hitting a single red light. However, if you run into one, the chance you run into every consecutive red light is the punishment. When in a rush, people never realize, do not use the streets that connect to a freeway if you’re using surface streets or you’re asking for trouble.
Anyway, I am so happy that Fresno’s highways look nothing like that of Los Angeles where you’ll sit in traffic for hours.
This is why I love Fresno.
